30 Day Shred

Ok so my workouts havent been what they should... I have been slacking. I am going to restart the 30 day shred here in a week when we get back from Belgium and see how it goes. Will keep you all updated :)

Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred

Ok so today I started Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred!
I am exhausted! My starting Measurements are:
Waist: 37 inches
Bust: 37 inches
Weight: 155 pounds
Hips: 39.5 inches
Body fat: 27.62%
BMI: 25.79
According to my BMI  I am on the verge of obesity.

Panera Bread Broccoli Cheese Soup!!

So I have made all of the clones for this recipe and this is the one that I jinked with and made it taste exactly like it!!!! The secret is the cheese! It cant be the bag shredded or the block the key is the slices! It doesn't seam like it would be that big of a deal but it makes all the difference!

3 Cups Broccoli Florets
4 Cups Chicken Broth
1 Cup Half-and-Half
1/2 Cup All Purpose Flour
1/2 Cup Shredded Carrot
1/3 Cup Diced White Onion
1/2 Teaspoon Ground Black Pepper
8 Slices Kraft Sharp Cheddar Singles



1. Steam the broccoli on a steamer basket in a covered saucepan over boiling water for 6 minutes. Remove the broccoli to a chopping board, cool,
then use a large sharp knife to dice the broccoli into pieces that are about the size of peas.
2. Pour the chicken broth into a large saucepan with the half-and-half. Whisk in the flour, and then add the remaining ingredients including the
broccoli. Turn the heat to medium and cook, stirring often, until mixture begins to bubble. Reduce the heat and simmer for 30 minutes, or until the
carrots are tender and the soup is thick.

Even though I dont live in Colorado anymore, its still my home and where all my memories are. It is really hard for me to see it going up in smoke... 5% contained as of this A.M. Praying that they can get it under control and that no one gets injured.

Life is fantastic

My life is so fantastic!!! I am so blessed to have a beautiful healthy daughter, and a husband that loves and cares for us more than anything. Life is great, God is wonderful and I wouldn't change anything!

New With Us

Summer is starting!!!!
So excited to be outside and in shorts :)

My daughter has killed our flowers :( but that is ok. We had fun while it lasted.
AND...

We are getting a new addition nope not a baby, but a cute dog.. We are thinking about naming him Thor, or Tritan. What do ya think?

You know I am starting to like it over here. We are getting out more going to see new things and having fun. We are trying to spend alot more time outside now that it is getting warmer.

So I just started some of my flowers in peat pots to spruce up our place a little bit. I have about 50 of them started. So many different flowers to choose from. Very excited just hope that they grow right. I think I may have started them a bit late, but here in Germany it is a great time. It is a very shady area and not sure if I planted ones that will do well with barely any sun. If anyone has any ideas of some flowers that do best in shade let me know and I will try them out.
